You should make tshirts

I'd buy a tshirt with Pico's face as seen on the avatar, with PICO PWNS written in giant block letters underneath.

This was a well-made piece and had me really cheering for the crew near the end. My favourite part was when Tom Fulp held onto the robot's arm long enough for Pico to grenade him. Great job!

Holy! Zombie-Pimp! Thanks for your comment man. You animation "House of 1000 Cats" was a huge inspiration in this animation. I also wanted to use that last song from the credits of you animation in my credits but i thought people might think i'm a copy-cat. :P

I'm glad you liked it Zombie! :)

Like a pwnage sandwich between two slices of fail

Your miserable attempts at humour during the beginning and ending cradle the action-packed masterpiece in the middle. I'd call this 'avant garde' or 'artistic' but really I think you're just a troll. A troll who's extremely talented at doing fight scenes. Keep up the good work, I'll gladly sit through all your spam and shenanigans in hopes of getting to see your brilliant animation.

Go 2 hell Zombie Pimp, my humor is fine

Way to ruin a perfect ending lol

Your drawing skills are incredible, you have a real knack for drawing faces. I think you could be more adventurous with your choice of angles, especially with the fight scenes, where I felt like sometimes you were taking the "easy way out" with certain action sequences. Great job creating an engaging scenario with visuals and music alone. The non-use of sound effects was bold but I felt it really worked in this case. The storyline was perfect, and I was moved by Nene's heroic efforts and the payoff at the end, except that you totally ruined it with your cruel joke at the very end with the newspaper lol. I guess that's pico day for ya.

Refreshing

I was able to identify with the character, feel how he felt. This is a mark storytelling at its finest. Despite the lack of detail and the sometimes awkward movements, I really enjoyed this piece. Great use of colour, angles, and facial expressions. I'll be keeping and eye on you for future submissions.

MorrowDays responds:

thanks man :)
'storytelling at its finest' isn't something I've gotten before!

haha

yeah I've always hated that face too, so stupid looking rofl.

sets a new standard

You take full advantage of the complete artistic freedom granted to you with the medium of animation. Unlike the typical 'wierd' crap we see churned out of the avant garde factory, you have managed to create an infectious and unique piece of musical animation. You are an inspiration to the rest of us animators. Thank you for sharing this with us.

asthmatickitty responds:

Wow, thanks!

congrats on finally finishing something!

I'm glad you waited until the fight scene was done before submitting to newgrounds. I think thats where this piece really shines. Your camera angles are great and your animation is smooth. Great job. The story itself is quite complex, I've watched it a couple of times to understand what's going on. You can definitely go places with this story and these characters, so keep at it!

brilliant piece from an unexpected artist

I have to say, not having been a fan of your previous submissions, I am surprised at how much I enjoyed this piece. Your over-the-top style of humour really comes through here. The rapidfire pace that you delivered your jokes had me laughing my ass off at the next joke before I could recover from the last laugh. Great stuff.

Yo They should remake Cowboy Bebop with clocks.
