Haha kott beat me, but yeah I'm a pretty sweet scripter (been using as3 pretty much since it came out) and Donkey Kong Country was probably one of the best side scrollers ever.

If you need an example of my most recent work in AS3, I'm building a sophisticated chat system for the KK (very similar to the one supposedly coming soon to a newgrounds near you) which will go live sometime within the next few days (chat's done, I just need to finish the php part of the backend).
